Grace Selby - They/She
Residing in Whanganui after living away for 9 years, Grace is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice is mainly focused on the concept of home; whether that is centred in a physical dwelling or embedded in memories. She uses a combination of photography and textile-based work to explore the meaning of home, and how memories and perception of place can impact our connections and understanding of the world around us.
While Grace's formal qualifications are in Photography, they have also spent several years working in Graphic Design.
Outside of creating, Grace volunteers in Scouts Aotearoa as a Local Rover Advisor.
